At Conqur AI, we're building the platform that helps marketing teams optimize their content for AI search engines. As a founding engineer, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape not just our product, but our engineering culture and the entire company.
What You'll Do
- Architect and build the core Conqur AI platform from scratch
- Work directly with the founding team on product strategy and technical decisions
- Design and implement scalable systems for AI search monitoring and optimization
- Own major features end-to-end with complete autonomy
- Mentor and help build out the engineering team as we grow
- Rapidly iterate based on customer feedback in our fast-paced environment
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to our technical documentation
- Participate in product planning and roadmap discussions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
- Help establish engineering best practices and coding standards
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with proven startup success
- Strong full-stack development skills (Python, JavaScript, modern frameworks)
- Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS products
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in ambiguity
- Passion for AI and search technology
- Fast learner who thrives in rapidly evolving environments
- High performer who excels at wearing multiple hats in a startup
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts
- Previous experience in a founding or early-stage engineering role is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
